Dr. Zachary Alan Coates is a 2019 graduate of the combined OD/MS program at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. After completing optometry school he completed an ocular disease and primary care residency at the Columbus and Chillicothe VAs where he earned the Dr. William O. Schuller Jr. Academic Excellence Award. Upon completing his residency he joined the staff at Comprehensive Eye Care of Central Ohio in Westerville, OH and the faculty at The Ohio State University College of Optometry. He currently holds the rank of Assistant Clinical professor where he teaches neuroanatomy, and serves as an attending within various clinics. Dr. Coates is a Fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry.
