Dr. Katie Greiner is a native Ohioan working as an optometrist at Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons located in Stow, Ohio. She also serves as the VP of Physician Engagement for Midwest Vision Partners. Her clinical focus is on anything contact lenses especially specialty contact lens fittings. She grew up in the neighboring town of Cuyahoga Falls and resides in Hudson with her husband Nathan and her sons Henry (9) and Luke (6). Dr. Greiner obtained both her Doctorate of Optometry and Masters in Vision Science from The Ohio State College of Optometry in 2009. She then went on to complete a Surgical Co-Management and Contact Lens Residency at Davis Duehr Dean in Madison, WI where she discovered her true passion for specialty contact lens fits. Prior to her current practice, Dr. Greiner served as Clinical Director for TLC Laser Eye Center in Dublin, OH and worked as a Clinical Attending in the Contact Lens Clinic and Primary Care Clinic at The Ohio State College of Optometry. She thoroughly enjoys teaching and mentors a fourth year OSU optometry student on specialty fitting at Northeast Ohio Eye Surgeons each semester. Dr. Greiner is active in the optometric community serving as the past Membership Chair for the Ohio Optometric Association, recent past Zone 3 Governor, serves on the East West Eye Committee as a Visionary and an Allied Eye Professional Co-Chair and provides RealEyes health and safety education to grade school students. She completed a Health Care MBA program at Baldwin Wallace University in 2019 to further her administration skill set in the field of eyecare. Besides optometry, Dr. Greiner is busy as a wife and mom, a board member for IDOC, LLC as well the Ohio State Optometry Alumni Committee and enjoys Pilates, traveling and skiing.
