Danica Marrelli is the North Texas Study Group Clinical Professor at UHCO, where she serves as Assistant Dean for Clinical Education and Director of the Ocular Diagnostic and Medical Eye Service. In the classroom, Dr. Marrelli teaches ocular pharmacology, glaucoma and case-based learning courses. Dr. Marrelli is a diplomate in the glaucoma section of the American Academy of Optometry, and is the president of the Optometric Glaucoma Society. She serves on the Education Committee for the Glaucoma Research Foundation. She received the American Academy of Optometry Foundation’s Michael G. Harris Family Award for Excellence in Optometric Education in 2024.
