131: The ABCs of OCT 1: Biomarkers in AMD, DME, and Retinal Vascular Disease

Optical coherence tomography is arguably the biggest innovation in eye care in the last twenty-five years, and has revolutionized the management of patients with macular degeneration, diabetic retinopathy, retinal vein occlusion, vitreoretinal interface abnormalities, and a myriad of other conditions. The wealth of information provided, however, can be overwhelming. This presentation will review diabetic macular edema and retinal vascular disease, noting patterns and biomarkers in raster scans that will facilitate decision-making around diagnosis, management, and referral.
